I've been nervously awaiting the cooler weather, afraid that all our good times would drop with the temperature. . . but I've been pleasantly surprised as we've done some fun things these past two weekends. Last weekend we enjoyed taking Crew to his first live football game. Jer's hope is the more Crew is exposed to sports, the more apt he will be to playing them :) We had a great time watching Justin play for his highschool. I had forgotten the energy and excitement that comes with highschool games. Much to daddy's dismay, Crew's highlight was the Monster Truck Ride. As for me I was terrified we were going to flip, but Crew insisted I go instead of Jer!! At least now I can say I've been in a monster truck and driven over cars, how many people can say that?
Payson had their Onion' Days last weekend, Crew saw this attraction as soon as we turned the corner.
The guy told me if your sitting in the back (which I mistakenly did) you are up 20-30 feet in the air on the highest points of the hills. . . YIKES! I'm glad we made it safely down. I am such a pansy in my old age.
He was so excited I can't even put it into words!!! I love his face in this pic. He talks about it nonstop, I can't believe I nearly deprived him of this epic, life changing experience! Thanks Daddy for talking me into it :0) We LOVE you!!!
Today we went to Spanish Fork's Air Show with Josh, Brittany and her kids. (Thanks Britt and Debbie for the invite!) We missed having daddy here, he was giving a training in Memphis maybe next year. :) Crew loved seeing the planes and especially the helicopter. He kept saying, "Mommy sing the helicopter song!" I guess I sing to much during the day while doing mundane tasks. . . just recently he's started asking me to make up songs about EVERYTHING mostly cars and trains but occasionally eyebrows and elbows??? Yeah kinda strange but I sure love him. And I especially love that he doesn't mind that I really can't sing.

Inside one of the fire rescue planes. Fire fighters jump out of this plane to fight forest fires. The men wear these huge suits because they have to jump with all their equipment.
Poor little guy thought he was going for a ride :(
Mimi (Brittany's mom) and the cousins. Thanks again it was awesome!
Little Addy had too much fun and was all tuckered out.
Not sure if this was allowed but Crew sure thought he was awesome.
My sweet little goober face pretending to be camera shy. We miss you daddy!
A little slice of shade on the hot tarmac. ;)
