Finally I am posting the highlights of our trip to Brisbane, Australia. I have always wanted to go to Aussie land and I can't believe that I have! I am looking forward to going back when I'm not prego, so we can scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef. Jeremy would also like to go to the outback and see a real aborigine. As for me I wouldn't mind going to the outback to find me a little 'creamy' to bring back home. (I don't know if you've seen the movie Australia, but I absolutely loved that little creamy and I want one! :) I'd also like to see Sydney, as we've been told it is very different from Brisbane. Although Brisbane is a big city, it is laid back and very relaxed. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of Sydney. After coming from Singapore, we really enjoyed the serenity of Brisbane. If you get a chance to go it is well worth it.

A beautiful shot of Brisbane. One of my favorite things about this city, is how the river runs literally right through downtown. It is so beautiful.

One of the days Freya and Nathan took us to the Koala Sanctuary. It was a great time, except for the heat! It was only bearable for a couple of hours.

Jeremy thought this sign was so cool! Singapore is 6,173km away (an 8hr flight) New York 15,496km (a really long flight!)

The one and only 'Crocodile Dundee'!!! Not really but he looked just like an older version of him. This was the dog/sheep show at the sanctuary. It was amazing how trained these dogs were and very entertaining!

After herding the sheep into the coral, they would just jump right on top of them. Here he is looking all cozy on top of the sheep!

He had his tongue out too, but he wanted me to look like a dork for the picture!

This made me laugh, Jeremy does this same thing to Daisy and she goes right to sleep. Who would have thought that it works on Kangaroos as well? I guess he's got "the touch" with animals, I wonder if his charms will work getting Crew to sleep?

Freya and I, frolicking with the roos!

If you look close enough you can see that he is sucking his thumb!

This was another highlight of the sanctuary; I got to hold a Koala! (Just a Koala not a Koala Bear. They are not bears but marsupials. Just an FYI so you don't sound dumb if you're ever talking to an Aussie.) It was great holding him, until he pooped right in my hand!

Look comfy?

This was the kindergarten. These were the young koalas. They are so cute and remind me of little snuggly babies.

Can you see the huge spider just floating in the air??? This gigantic spider had created a web from the top of two trees hanging right over the walk path. Jeremy almost freaked when he had to walk under it. . . what a sissy!

After the scantuary we went to the botanical gardens. This is where Freya had the pictures taken after the wedding. It was beautiful! This was a funny little statue there.

After the botancial garden we went to the look out (can't remember what it's called) but you can see the entire city. It was breathtaking! And finally a cool breeze!

From the lookout. You can see how the river winds through the city.

Another day we went to the beach, unfortunately it wasn't the best weather conditions. It was really windy and slightly overcast. But the water was absolutey fantastic! It was so warm. Even though the waves were too big for an unsteady pregnant girl, I enjoyed it close to shore.

You can see how windy it was. When we came back to find our towels and shoes, they were completely covered with sand! We had to dig them out!

Oh how cute! Jeremy does have a romantic side. :)

This is a night shot from the floating board walk. It was so peaceful walking along the river at night.

What an awesome trip! Is it every kids dream to play with the kangaroos and cuddle with a koala? [minus the poo, of course :)] Looks like you guys had a blast! I can't believe you have less than two months left until your little one arrives! You look amazing, as always.
Wowsers! I had no idea you went on such an amazing trip! How fun! I can't even tell you're pregnant. I wish I could rub your little belly. So cute!
What an amazing trip!!! I have always wanted to go there! How far was your flight from where you live?? By the way, I was terrified when I had Brooklyn...even the day I was going into have her, but everything went so well for me. Aubrey was scheduled and I was nervous too. I think this time I just want him out!! I don't even care how. Good luck! I know everything will be fine.

You're much nicer than I am. After a koala pooped in my hand, I definitely wouldn't refer to it as cute. Ever again.
